| Objective: To observe the influence of Yiqihuoxue prescription towards the expression of typeâ… a nd typeâ…¢collagen in Acute Myocardium Infracted rats. Inquire whether it have the effects on preventing Left Ventricular Remodeling.Methods: The root of left coronary artery was ligated to establish AMI in wistar rats,They were randomly divided sham operation group, modal group, high dosage of Yiqihuoxue prescription group, low dosage of Yiqihuoxue prescription group and captopril group. Observations were made on the general status and the left rentricular mass index. Cardiac tissue collagen tapeâ… andâ…¢were measured by immunohistochemistry, and mRNA expression of collagen typeâ… andâ…¢were measured by RT-PCR.Results:â‘ comparing of general status in rats The general status of rats in the high dosage group and the captopril group were obviously improved by Yiqihuoxue prescription ,the mortality rate in the high dosage grope and the captopril group were more remarkably decrease, it is significant to compared with the model group;â‘¡comparing of LVMI LVMI of Yiqihuoxue prescription group was decreased (P<0.05,vs model group).â‘¢compartion of the cardiac tissue collagen typeâ… andâ…¢of the model group were increased(P<0.05,vs sham group), while that of the high dosage group and the captopril group were decreased(P<0.05,vs model group). The detection by RT-PCR was coherent to the expression of myocardial collagen protein.Conclusion:â‘ Myocardial fibrosis after acute myocardial infarction was related to the high expression of tapeâ… a nd typeâ…¢collagen.â‘¡The high dosage of Yiqihuoxue prescription group and the captopril group have effect on acute myocardial infraction rats, could increase their survival rate and improve symptom.â‘¢Yiqihuoxue prescription could repress the expression of tapeâ… and typeâ…¢collagen mRNA in acute myocardial infarction rats, they have therapy effect on myocardial fribrosis and Left Ventricular Remodeling.
