Study Expression Of Omi/HtrA2,Caspase-7 In Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma And Their Correlations

Objectire:The purpose of this study is to establish the expression of Omi/HtrA2,caspase-7 and the apoptosis states in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC),discuss the relationship of Omi/HtrA2 and caspase-7 and apoptosis states in LSCC,explore the possible role of Omi/HtrA2,caspase-7 in LSCC.Methods:40 cases of LSCC and 10 cases of vocal cord polyp(VCP)and 10 cases of normal laryngeal tissues(NLT)were obtained from surgery.The expression of Omi/HtrA2 and caspase-7 in LSCC,VCP and NLT were investigated by immunohistochemistry methods.The apoptosis states of the three tissues were determined with TUNEL methods.To discuss the relationship of caspase-7,Omi/HtrA2 and the apoptosis states in LSCC.Results:Comparing with VCP and NLT,the expression of Omi/HtrA2 protein significant increased in LSCC(P＜0.05).The expression of caspase-7 protein in LSCC tissue increased significantly than that in VCP and NLT(P＜0.05).Statistical correlations were established between Omi/HtrA2 and the caspase-7 protein in the LSCC(r=0.314,P＜0.05).The expression of Omi/HtrA2 and caspase-7 protein in LSCC tissue was not significantly related to age,sex, position of the tumor,metastasis of lymph(P＞0.05).However,it was significantly related to pathology category.The result of TUNEL showed that the apoptosis of LSCC tissue were lower than that in VCP and NLT.Conclusions:Comparing with VCP and NLT,the expression of Omi/HtrA2 and caspase-7 protein significant increased in LSCC.It show us that Omi/HtrA2 and caspase-7 play a key role in the occurrence and development of LSCC.They were related each other.They were not significantly related to age,sex,position of the tumor,metastasis of lymph,but significantly related to pathology category.The apoptosis of LSCC tissue were lower than that in VCP and NLT.It suggest apoptosis play an important role in the pathogenesis of LSCC.
