Objective: To detect the anti-acetylcholine receptor antibodies (AchR-Ab) inthe sera of patients with myasthenia gravis (MG). and to find out the relation betweenthe content of the AchR-Ab and MG.Methods: To measure the AchR-Ab in the sera of 56 patients with MG withenzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results: The serum AchR-Ab positive rate of MG patients before and aftertherapy was 46.4ï¼…. The serum AchR-Ab positive rates of MG patients with thymoma(MGT). non-thymoma (n-MGT). ocular MG. clinical typeâ…¡MG and clinical typeâ…¢MG were 85.7ï¼…, 40.8ï¼…,21.4ï¼…,52.6ï¼…and 75.0ï¼…, respectively. Conclusion: The serum AchR-Ab positive rate of MG patients was increasedwith the age. The serum AchR-Ab level decreased while the duration of the diseaseincreased. The serum AchR-Ab positive rate of MGT was higher than that of n-MGTobviously. The serum AchR-Ab positive rate was higher of the patients with higherOsserman's classification.
