Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an image technique with high resolutionand non-invasive characteristic. Since 1991, the year when it was brought about, it hasbeen fully developed. Moreover, it is widely applied in biomedical fields and hasincreasingly become an indispensable means of imaging. With the development ofphotoelectron technique, various new products emerge one aider another and thetechniques of fiber devices have been increasingly improved. So is the OCT system. Thispaper will start with the basic principles as well as the structures of OCT, and then willmake an introduction of the integrated OCT system and the applications in biomedicalresearch. The contents are as follows:Firstly, analyze the principle of OCT and its signal composes detailed, it will offertheory support for actual system design. Secondly, in the hardware aspect, analyze each ofthe select about light resource, interference structure and reference arm. In the softwareaspect, emphasize introduce image restructure principle and method. Finally, install acomposite OCT system and make some necessary test. The test result accord with thetheory exactly.The process of tissue healing of mouse skin was monitored by such OCT system, invivo after laser irradiation. We observe the change and renovating scathe of the collagenstructure in thermal damage tissue successfully by valuated the optical parameters.Moreover, for the measurement of ablation depth it also has admittedly advantage. Theresult of certain sample depth measure indicates that OCT is availably method to surveyablation depth.
