Objective:(1)To detect the serum levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-15(IL-15),interleukin-18(IL-18)in myasthenia gravis(MG) and the correlations between these with clinic score,course,grouping,the serum levels of AchRab and PsmRab in MG.(2)To investigate the correlations between telomerase avtivity about CD4~+ cell of peripheral blood T cell subsets and the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 in MG.Methods:The serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18,AchRab and Psmab were detected with enzyme-linked immonosorbent assay(ELISA)in 30 MG patients and 30 negative controls.Telomerase avtivity was detected by polymerase chain reaction enzyme-linked immonosorbent assay(PCR-ELISA) in 30 MG patients.MG patients's conditon were quantificated by their clinical absolute scores.The serum levels of IL-4,IL-15 and IL-18 in 10 MG patients were detected before and after immunotherapy.Results:(1)The levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 in MG were significantly higer than those in negative controls(P<0.01).(2) The serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 were decreased after immunochemitherapy(P<0.05).(3)There were positive correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15 and IL-18(P<0.05).(4)There were no correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL -18 and the clinical absolute scores,course,serum levels of the AchRab,Psmab in MG patients(P>0.05).(5)The IL-18 level of sys-type was significantly higer than that of ocular type(P<0.05),but there were no correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15 and grouping in MGpatients(P>0.05).(6)There were positive correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 and telomerase avtivity about CD4~+ cell of peripheral blood T cell subsets in MG patients(P<0.01).Conclusions:(1)IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 were involved in the pathology of MG.The decreasing of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 were significative in observeing the effect of therapy on MG.(2)Different cytokines affected each other to take part in immunopathogenesis of myasthenia gravis. (3)There were no correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15,IL-18 and different antibodies,clinical absolute scores,disease course in MG.(4)The IL-18's level of sys-type was significantly higer than that of ocular type.There were no correlations between the serum levels of IL-4,IL-15 and grouping.(5)IL-4,IL-15 and IL-18 participated in regulating telomerase avtivity in MG.
