The Research Of Integrated Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Malignant Ascites

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Ji xiao Decoction cooperation therapy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy in treatment of malignant ascites against the therapy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy singly. Methods: (1)In the clinical study, 60 patients with malignant ascites were randomly divided into the treated group(n=30) and the control group(n=30).The treated group was treated by Ji xiao Decoction combined with chemotherapy by locally applying of DDP via abdominal infusion,while the control group was treated by DDP infusion alone. The treatment lasted for one months.The conditions of ascites,quality of life(QOL),survival period,and TCM syndrome after treatment were observed. (2)In the empirical study,the mice models of ascites were grouped and treated to abserve the conditions of ascites and their survival period. Results: (1) The steady rate of treated group is significantly higher than that of the control group(P﹤0.05); The QOL of the treated group is better than the control group(P﹤0.05);Comparison of clinical syndromes:The treated group is better than the control group(P﹤0.05);The occurance of toxic and side effects of the treated group is much lower than that of the control group(P﹤0.05)(.2)Experimented study showed that on the four mice models of ascites,the effect of Ji xiao Decoction cooperation therapy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy and the therapy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy singly was superior to that of the control group in aspects reducing ascites and prolonging survival period (P﹤0.05). Conclusion: In treatment of malignant ascites,the therapy of Ji xiao Decoction cooperation therapy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy can not only control the disease but also can improve clinical syndromes,make QOL better and reduce toxic and side effect.
