Objectives:The purpose of this study is to establish the Rabbit model of Enterococcus faecalis endocarditis, survey several virulence factors of entrococcus faecalis and prokaryotic expression,purification of enterococcus faecalis efaA provide support to next study such as obtaining multiple clone antibodies in order to detect clinical infections caused by enterococcus faecalis and develop new therapy without antibiotics .Methods : According to the method in the literature the Rabbit model of Enterococcus faecalis endocarditis is established. Then efaA gene is cloned to pET30a vector amplyfied in DH5αEcoli strains,expressed in host strain BL21(DE3).The protein efaA is detected by SDS-PAGE and Western Blot. The efaA recombinant fusion protein is purified and detected in SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.Results:1. The Rabbit model of Enterococcus faecalis endocarditis had been successfully established.2. efaA recombinant fusion protein was successfully purified,detected in SDS-PAGE electrophoresis.Conclusions:The vegetation of the Rabbit model of Enterococcus faecalis endocarditis is obviously observed and great .Enterococcus faecalis is more virulent than Enterococcus faecium.
