Hawthorn berry is from Crataegus pinnatifida bge var major: N.E.Br,Cpinnatifida bge of the traditional Chinese medicine.The medicine can treat badstomach digest, activat blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis.accepted in Chinapharmacopoeia in 2005 edition.The raw hawthorn berry was used to treat vascularhypertension, coronary artery disease and hyperlipemia in clinical research theseyears.The article carried on the related research on the technology of abstraction anddepurate, its qualities and chemistry composition of hawthorn berry.The extraction technology was investigated and the reliable parameters weregot in this article. The author gived some research to macroporous resin and choosethe best one to purificated total flavones in hawthorn berry.Pharmacological research showed the mainly active fraction is total flavones inhawthorn berry. The fingerprint on total flavones in extractive of hawthorn berry wasstudied by HPLC,with result that 24 peaks were common respectively. The method isstable,well repeated and may offer abundant scientific basis of the quality evaluationof extractive of hawthorn berry.Fingerprint is a good technology to elevate the quality of herb medicine.Themain active fraction can be extracted by HPLC,Fingerprint was studied,chromatographic parameter was acquired.24 peaks were assigned common peak inthe spectrum.The analysis method has good credibility and stability.The researchprovided certain science parameter to control the quality of hawthorn berry.The author examine the hyperoside and rutin in hawthorn berry from differentplace,and the analysis method was well repeated and good credibility. Our researchcan effectively control the quality of hawthorn berry and be the good guidance of GAP.
