Objective: Primarily study the apoptosis of Echinococcus granulosus protoscolices induced by TNF-αin vitro. Methods: The protoscolices of enchinococcus granulosus from carnal were cultured in normal saline with different dose TNF-α(0.125, 0.1875 and 0.375ug/ml) for 15. hours at 37℃and for different timecourse (52,64 and 72 hours) with same dose TNF-a(0.125 ug/ml)at 4℃. The control groups without TNF-αwere given in both experiments. The apoptosis were detected by the methods of TUNEL assay, HE stain and TEM to detect the apoptosis. Results: TUNEL assay show statistical significance between control groups and TNF groups in both experiments. The apoptosis induced by TNF-αon Echinococcus granulosus protoscolices of carnal origin maybe has dose and time dependent in a certain extent. Apoptosis can also be observed under TEM. While HE stain has't satisfied result. Conclusion: Primarily observed the aoptosis on Echinococcus granulosus protoscolices of carnal and it may be induced by TNF-αwhich may has dose and time dependent. The machanism need further research.
