Post-stroke depression(PSD) is the most common complications of stroke。It has direct influence on patiences'quality of life and functional recovery, also results in heavy pecuniary burden for patients'family and the society. The research was a clinical trial in order to put forward a new viewpoint combining with the academic cognition and clinical experience on medication of my tutor profession Cao Xiaolan. She thinks highly of body constitution in analysis of PSD etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, upholds the main of the PSD is deficiency of Zang-fu organs and insufficiency of kidney. And then functional activity of liver's Qi is not smooth and blood flow slowly. The thesis involves in 2 parts:clinical research and theory study. In this research,40 PSD outpatients of the hospital affiliated to the Shandong University of Chinese Traditional Medicine have been observed. Those PSD patients were randomly divided into two groups:20 cases in the treatment groups were cured by YinaojieyuFang ;20 cases in control groups were cured by XiaoyaoSan .We contrasted the quantificat scores of symptoms in Chinese medicine and the scores of HAMD in order to analyze the curative effect and indication of YinaojieyuFang treating PSD.The clinical result showed that total effective rate was 80%, 95% in treating group and 65%, 75% in control group assessing by the HAMD and Chinese medicine criteria. That proved the YinaojieyuFang has better effect than the XiaoyaoSan and has no toxic and side effect. To sum up in a word, the rule of reinforcing kidney and regulating liver'Qi has further predominance than pure regulating liver'Qi.
