Objective: To explore the expressions of NGF,P75NGFR and TrkA in the tissue of pancreatic cancer, and the relationship between the expressions and clinical-pathological indexes. Methods:The expressions and morphological distribution of NGF,P75NGFR and TrkA were investgated in 83 pancreatic cancer and normal pancreas and chronic pancreatitis by means of immunohistochemistry and exploreed the relationship between the expressions and clinical-pathological indexes. Results:⑴The expressions of NGF and TrkA in pancreatic cancer were higher than those in normal pancreas and chronic pancreatitis. But that of P75NGFR had no significant deviation in the two kinds of tissue.⑵By means ofχ2 test, the expression of NGF was positively correlated with tumor size, and was also associated with lymphatic invasion. And the expressions of P75NGFR and TrkA were only closely correlated with lymphatic invasion.⑶By using optimization dimention regression test, it was also discovered that the expression of NGF was correlated with histological differentiation, tumor stage, tumor size and lymphatic invasion, and the relationship between the expression of NGF and tumor size appeared most tightly close. But the expression of P75NGFR was still to remain to correlated with lymphatic invasion. And the expression of TrkA was correlated with both lymphatic invasion and tumor TNM stage.⑷Patient's prognosis after surgery was mainly correlated with lymphatic invasion and the positive expression of TrkA. Conclusion: NGF,P75NGFR and TrkA have some effects on progress of pancreatic cancer, the mechanism might be that NGF,P75NGFR and TrkA are correlated with neural invasion of pancreatic cancer.
