On the ground, we planted the cells into the dcellularized nerve scaffold to produce tissue-engineered nerve, and used the production to heal injury of rat sciatic nerve by transplant. The results showed indicated that the tissue-engineered nerve created by the neural tissue-committed stem cells could restore conduction of injured peripheral nerve. The tissue-engineered nerve also provided with schwann cells and micro-condition adapt to restore injured nerve. It is suggested that the neural tissue-committed stem cells was ideal seeding cells for creation of tissue-engineered nerve. At the same time these results indicated Dcellularized nerve scaffold could be used as scaffold material to tissue-engineered nerve.
