New effective markers for the diagnosis of pancreatic carcinoma are urgently needed. In this study, we evaluated the potential contribution of TTR,PRSS2,ELA3B,REG1B to pancreatic carcinoma. TTR,PRSS2,ELA3B,REG1B gene expression was evaluated using qRT-PCR. TTR gene wasn't expressed in pancreatic cancer cell lines. TTR,ELA3B,REG1B genes'expression between pancreatic carcinoma and adjacent normal pancreatic tissues had no difference. TTR was negative in pancreatic cancer tissues by immunohistochemistry. PRSS2 gene was universally overexpressed in pancreatic carcinoma. This indicated that specific proteins associated with pancreatic carcinoma in pancreatic juice were found because of overexpressing or structural destruction in carcinoma. PRSS2 ,which was a marker of pancreatic carcinoma ,could be used forthe diagnosis of pancreatic carcinoma in the near future.
