Objective: To observe the changes of the function of major organs and expression changes of TNF-αand IL-6 in plasma after infusing different doses of free hemoglobin in hemorrhagic shock animals, We can know the FHb's effect on the animals. Methods: Pigs were given different doses of FHb. We observed the changes of vital signs and the function of major organs ,Then collected the hemorrhagic shock animals'venous blood samples, The plasma volumes of IL-6 and TNF-αwere measured by ELISA. Results: In hemorrhagic shock state, some of major organs and the volumes of IL-6 and TNF-αhad statistical changes in the animals of 10mg/kg group. All of major organs and the volumes of IL-6 and TNF-αhad outstanding changes in the animals of 15mg/kg group Pathological examination showed that the major organs had obviously changes Conclusion: High concentrations of FHb (more than 10mg/Kg) greatly affeced the cytokines of hemorrhagic shock animals. FHb has influences to vital organs and might increase the incidence of MODS. In hemorrhagic shock state, the tolerance dose in animals of free hemoglobin is about 10mg/kg, less than 10mg/kg is relatively safe in hemorrhagic shock state.
