Research On The Computer-Aided Surgery Planning For Implantation Of Artificial Ear

It is significantly difficult and risky in artificial ear implant surgery. So the essential importance to the success of the artificial ear implant surgery is a good method to observe the ear structure, detect and measure on the bone, and simulate the implantation operation.Now, no domestic and foreign research institution and commercial company has developed the full computer-acid artificial ear implantation system. The lab cooperates with Shanghai East Hospital in developing artificial ear implantation planning system with the implantation knowledge and experience support from hospital. This research also further develops the domestic implantation technology and gives the reference to the computer-acid software design.Computer-acid artificial ear implantation system helps the doctors analyze the medical images, simulate the virtual implantation surgery, and make surgery planning by using computer image and graphics technology.
