| Aims: To approach the relation of obstructive sleep apnea -hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS) with different degree and cardiac arrhythmia. Methods:The total of 80 patients who complained of snoring during sleeping came to our hospital. They were confirmed by polysomnography (PSG) and were analyzed by 24 hours Holter. According to the consequence of PSG,we divided them into two groups:one is OSAHS group including 65 patients whose apnea hypopnea index(AHI)≥5, the other is control group including 15 patients who snored and the AHI <5,then compared the incidence rate,AHI,minimum arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2min)of arrhythmia between the two groups. According to AHI and SaO2min, we also divided the OSAHS patients into three groups: lower grade, medium grade, heavy grade. Compared the morbidity rate of arrhythmia in OSAHS patients of different degree. Results: 1. Compared to control group, the incidence rate of arrhytmia increases obviously (P<0.01) in OSAHS group, SaO2min decreases (P<0.01).The incidence rate of arrhythmia between OASHS and control group is 26.77%,60.00% by turns. 2. Compared to control group, there is heart rate variability obviously (P<0.01) in OSAHS group. The lowest heart rate is 50.23±8.37, the highest heart rate is 97.15±8.72. The difference between two groups is highly significant. 3. The incidence rate of arrhythmia in lower, medium and heavy grade is 10%, 56.52%, 78.13% by turns .As the pathogenetic condition OSAHS patients aggravating gradually, not the morbidity rate of arrhythmia increases conspicuously, but the morbidity rate of malignant arrhythmia increases conspicuously. Conclusion: 1. Compared to control group,The morbidity rate of arrhythmia in OSAHS patients increase obviously.2. The morbidity rate of arrhythmia in OSAHS patients increase gradually following with the patient's condition getting worse.3. The morbidity rate of malignant arrhythmia in OSAHS patients increase gradually following with the patient's condition getting worse. |
