ObjectiveTo expore the effect of pulmonary surfactant(PS) combined with mechanical ventilation on neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS)in newborn.Methods25 newborns with NRDS were treated with pulmonary surfactant(PS) and mechanical ventilation, all the patients were evaluated in clinical symptoms,blood-gas analysis,X-ray chest films, the parameter of mechanical ventilation before and after treatment.Resultsafter treated with PS,the cyanosis were obviously improved, the colouration of skin turned bloom,The clinical symptoms sush as the three concave sign, accelerated breathing, groan were vanished, the breath sound were obviously enhanced, the transcutaneous oxygen saturation were upgrad.X-ray chest films were obviously improved. The blood-gas analysis sush as PaO2,PH,were obviously stepup, while the parameter of mechanical ventilation such as FiO2,PIP,PEEP and PaCO2 were dropped(p<0.01).The difference had statistical significance.ConclusionPS combined with mechanical ventilation is a effective and rapid way to treat NRDS. PS combined with mechanical ventilation can improve the prognosis of the newborn with NRDS.
