ObjectiveThis study was performed to assess the left ventricular regional systolic function by strain rate imaging and to investigate the relation between electrocardiogram and echocardiogarphy in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).MethodsI Collected the tissue Doppler myocardial imaging (TDI) of 20 HCM patients and 20 healthy subjects, then measured the regional SRI in the mid and basal segments in peak systolic, these date were compared and analyzed;the electrocardiogram date of the patients were collected and analyzed.ResultsPatients with HCM had reduced peak systolic strain rate at every segment of different walls compared with NOR group significantly, abnormal electrocardiogram was found in all patients with HCM,16 septal HCW with ST-T abnormalities or left ventricular hypertrophy and 3 apical HCM with huge negative T-wave in chest leadsConclusionsThe new echocardiography techniques:SRI could eccurately detect the abnormal regional myocardial systolic function of HCM patients;to pay more attention to ECG changes and combine with echocardiography can improve the accurate diagnosis rate in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
