Objective:To study the regulation effect of Abnormal Savda Munziq(ASMq) on Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Thyroid axis dysfunction on Abnormal Savda carrier animal model.Methods:Male ICR rats were fed with cold-natured diet under cool dry environment,stimulated with electric foot shocks to establish abnormal savda syndrome animal model discribed in Uighur medicine.The three other counterevidence drug groups such as the animal model group were given the same stimulative elements and further intervened with three different dosages(2.53g/kg,5.06g/kg,10.12g/kg)of abnormal savda munziq.The concentrations of andreno corticotropic hormone(ACTH),cortisol(CORT) in serum were measured by ELISA method.HPLC-fluorescence detection methods were applied to measure the concentrations of NE,DA,5-HT and DOPAC.Results:All dosed of ASMq used in our experiment significantly decreased the concentration of serum NE (p<0.05) and increased the concentrations of serum DA,5-HT and DOPAC(p<0.05). Additionally,NE in brain tissue was inhibited(p<0.01) while the DA(p<0.05) and DOPAC(p<0.01) were enhanced by the administration of ASMq.Conclusion:Abnormal savda munziq probably effected on the multi-parts of HPAA,thus can protect the morphological structure and reduce the pathological damage on cell ultra-structure of HPAA,the ASMq exerted regulation effects on Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenocortical axis(HPAA) on the Abnormal Savda carrier animal model.
