Part1: The study of the Platelet-derived growth factor level of the patient with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndromeObjective To observe the change of the platelet derived growth factor-B ( PDGF-B) in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) patients, and explore the relationship of PDGF-BB,OSAHS and hypertension complicated with it.Methods The levels of serum PDGF-BB in 40 OSAHS patients and 20 healthy controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method. The levels of PDGF-BmRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in subjects were measured by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT - PCR).Results The serum levels of PDGF-BB and the levels of PDGF-BmRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells were significantly higher in OSAHS group than those in control group ( P < 0. 05)and PDGF-BB related with severity of OSAHS.Farther analysis , there was a positive correlation between PDGF-BB level and AHI as well as average angiosthenia. Also, there was a positive correlation between PDGF-BB level and percentage of time spend when oxygen staturation lower than 90 %(SLT90 %) ,and so did between PDGF-BB level and the ratio of apnea time over total sleep time .There was a negative correlation between PDGF-BB and average saturation of blood oxygen as well as lowest saturation of blood oxygen . After nCPAP, The levels of PDGF in OSAHS patients reduced significantly. Conclusion The levels of PDGF-BB in OSAHS increases, and it could play a role in the pathophysiology of OSAHS and the formation of the cardiovascular disease complicated with it.Part2: The change of insulin-like growth factor-2 level in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndromeObjective To observe the change of the insulin-like growth factor -2( IGF-2)in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) patients, and explore the relationship of IGF-2,OSAHS and hypertension complicated with it.Methods The levels of serum IGF-2 in 40 OSAHS patients and 20 healthy controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method. The levels of IGF-2mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in subjects were measured by reverse transcription po lymerase chain reaction (RT - PCR).Results The serum levels of IGF-2 and the levels of IGF-2mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells were significantly higher in OSAHS group than those in control group ( P < 0. 05)and IGF-2 related with severity of OSAHS.Farther analysis , there was a positive correlation between IGF-2 level and AHI as well as average angiosthenia. Also, there was a positive correlation between IGF-2 level and percentage of time spend when oxygen staturation lower than 90 %(SLT90 %) ,and so did between IGF-2 level and the ratio of apnea time over total sleep time .There was a negative correlation between IGF-2 and average saturation of blood oxygen as well as lowest saturation of blood oxygen . After nCPAP, The levels of IGF-2 in OSAHS patients reduced significantly. Conclusion The levels of IGF-2 in OSAHS increases, and it could play a role in the pathophysiology of OSAHS and the formation of the cardiovascular disease complicated with it.
