Objective; To investigate the protective effects of Luomaishutong Granule on myocardium after reperfusion in patients with acute myocardial infarction.Method; The research enrolled the patients with ST segment elevation AMI who received primary PCI.These patients were randomized into two groups;treatment group,in which the patients were given Luomaishutong Granule plus routine drug treatment(n=30);control group,in which the patients were given routine drug treatment(n=31).Serum IL-6mRNA and hs-CRP levels were detected before PCI and on the 1st day,7st day after PCI, and incidences of arrhythmogenesis and ST segment resolution after PCI were observed.Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was measured with two dimensional echocardiography at the end of the first week and the second week respectively.Results;24hs after the PCI,IL-6mRNA and hs-CRP levels in the two groups increased, while IL-6mRNA and hs-CRP in the treatment group were obviously lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of arrhythmogenesis,2h,24h and 7d after PCI in the treatment group, was apparently lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and ST segment resolution in the treatment group were more than that in the control group (P7<0.05).Seven days later,IL-6mRNA and hs-CRP in both groups decreased more significantly than 1st day(P<0.01),and compared with the control group,IL-6mRNA and hs-CRP in the treatment group were apparently lower (P<0.01).After 14 days,LVEF in the treatment group was improved much more than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions;Luomaishutong Granule can inhibit inflammation after PCI,reduce myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, improve myocardial reperfusion and improve LVEF.
