Objective To observe the protective effect and cardiac function of lipoic acid in the patients with acute ST segment elevation after emergency interventional therapy. Methods Select the patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction and undergoing emergency PCI, a total of106cases.They were randomly assigned to treatment group (routine treatment and lipoic acid treatment group) and the control group (conventional treatment group). To compared the level of Creatine kinase creatine kinase isoenzyme and Troponin I, the difference of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) at7day and30day after PCI between two groups of patients. Results The content of serum Creatine kinase, creatine kinase isoenzyme and Troporin I in treatment group were lower than that in control group.Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)in the treatment group was higher than in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of lipoic acid in patients with acute acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction after the emergency interventional therapy, can improvement of cardiac function.
