Soybean, which is a kind of annual herb, Leguminose,Papilionaceae,Phase- oleae,Glycine.we used to call it Soybean or soya,and its scientific name is Glycine max(L.)Merrill.Now we know that there are a lot of effective components including Isoflavones,Soybean saponin,Soy Protein and unsaturated fatty acids etc. A great deal of constituents which will have physiological activity to our body.As can be seen from the above effective components, Soybean will be good for people's health.Soybean products are traditional food in our country,and play an important part in the diet structure of our country and southeast Asian countries,they often play the important role to people's health.In 2838 B.C. , It is recorded firstly in Shen Nong's Materia Medica that Soybean has a great medicinal value and economic value,and it was called"the good". Modern research shows that the chemical composition of Soybean are good for Breast Cancer,Prostate Cancer,AMI and Arteriosclerosis etc. And it plays the role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease . So what we do now is just do further study and make it clear to know the chemical compositions of soybean.We got about eight compounds from Soybean, we used Macroporous resin, Silica gel column as the separation means.And we now identify six structures of compounds by their physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis,They are Daidzin,Daidzein,Genistin,Glycitein,Genistein, 6"-O-Acetylgenistin.
