Uveitis, should pertain in traditional Chinese medicine to "tongshen Jinxiao"(stenocoriasis)or to "tongshen Ganque"(miosis),generally denotes inflammation of the choroid, ciliary body,or iris.It is caused by various pathogenic mechanism that has not been totally clear yet.It is comparatively thorny to treat, often affects repeatedly, causes to various complication and leads to blindness.Seeking reasonable and effective drug has become an urgent problem on the field of ophthalmology. In clinical practice, many doctors have carried out some exploration in treating uveitis with methods of traditional chinese and western medicine, also achieves some research findings.Based on investigating different types, characteristics of the disease and the syndrome types of the acute uveitis, the reaserch has observed therapeutic efficacy of "Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule combined with gucocorticoid" on treating the acute uveitis. The research also observed changes of C-reactive protain, and discusses the correlation between the syndrome types of acute uveitis and CRP.The research has important guidance function to the treatment of acute uveitis.First Part Literature researchThrough the summarize of the current researching of acute uveitis and Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule, consider that Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule may have clinical effect in treating acute uveitis.Through the evaluation of CRP changes before and after treating, offer clinical clues and theorectical guidance to the treatment of acute uveitis.Second Part Clinical researchObjective:To investigate different characteristics of the acute uveitis, observe therapeutic efficacy of "Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule combined with gucocorticoid" on treating the disease and changes of C-reactive protain, discuss the correlation between the syndrome types of acute uveitis and CRP.To provide the basis for the treatment of acute uveitis. Methods:Clinically collected the 60 patients(60 eyes)diagnosed as the acute uveitis;Patients were divided into control group and trail group at random, the control group had 30 patients(30eyes)treated by gucocorticoid only;the trail group have had 30 patients(30eyes)treated by "Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule" combined with gucocorticoid,Two groups dropped Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Eye Drops similarly;then observed the therapeutic efficacy and the level of CRP before and after treating. All of the data are analyzed by SPSS13.0.Conclusion:1.In 60 cases of acute uveitis patients,Anterior uveitis and panuveitis are in the majority, and Bechcet disease and Vogt-Koyanagi-narada syndrome were the most common entities in panuveitis.2.The total effective rate of the trail group is 93.3%,the same effect as the control group.3..Scores of clinical symptoms of TCM has no statistical significance(P>0.05) between two groups 3 months later.4..Therapeutic method of "purging pathogenic dampness-heat of the Liver and Gallbladder",as one of the theory of "Conggan Lunzhi",has a good effect in treating the acute uveitis.5.There was the correlation between the syndrome types of acute uveitis and CRP.The CRP level of the patients in TCM syndrome of pathogenic dampness-heat of the liver and gallbladder is significantly higher than that in TCM syndrome of pathogenic wind-heat of liver meridian. The CRP level of two groups has statistical significance(P<0.01).6.Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule can significantly reduce the level of CRP. This effect may be related to the effect of regulating the body's immune and anti-inflammatory of this drug.7.Cornu Saigae Tataricae Capsule have certain advantages in controlling the recurrence of uveitis, because that relapse rate of the trail group is far lower than the control group.
