Study On The Suppressing Effect Of NDV On Cultured Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC) Cells In Vitro

Objective:The aim of this topic is to find out the role of Newcastle Disease Virus(NDV)curing the NPC through using the technique of the cell biology and the molecular biology.Methods:Recently many NPC cell lines have been screened in China,for example,CNE-1,CNE-2 and et al.We used MTT method,ATP method,flow cytometer(FCM)method,plaque formation and electronic microscope method to do the experiment about NDV curing the NPC. Results:In MTT and ATP methods,NDV might inhibit the growth of NPC cells and the inhibition was depend on amount and time in the certain consistency and time.In FCM method,NDV might make NPC cells stop in the period of G₁ and lead to apoptosis.In electronic microscope method,NDV might induce apoptosis of NPC cells.Conclusion:Our studies manifested that NDV may both inhibit the growth of NPC cell and they can cause apoptosis of NPC cells.
