| Objective:To analysis of relevance between the unbalance of calcium concentration and neonatal behavioral neurological assessment in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathyMethod:To determine the concentration of the calcium about the intra-erythrocyte and the ecto-erythrocyte of neonates with HIE at the age of 0-3 days after birth by the FCM and take neonatal behavioral neurological assessment. To determine the activity of Ca2+/Mg2+-ATPase in the cellular membrane of the erythrocyte of neonates with HIE by chemi-chromometry,and to explore the relevance between them.Result:The concentration of the calcium about the ecto-erythrocyte descend significantly in neonates with HIE at the age of 0-3 days after birth(P<0.01).The intracellular free calcium concentration of erythrocytes in neonates with HIE was significantly higher than that of control group at the acute stage(P<0.01).Furthermore,at the recovery stage,it was significantly lower than for former. But there was none of significant between the recovery stage with HIE and the control group. And there were negative correlations between them at both acute and recovery stage. The correlation coefficients were-0.60 and-0.55 respectively (P<0.001).Conclusion:The concentration of the calcium about the intra-erythrocyte is overloading and the concentration of the calcium about the ecto-erythrocyte descend and the activity of Ca2+/Mg2+-ATPase in the cellular membrane of the erythrocyte descend significantly of the neonates with HIE.The intracellular free calcium concentration of erythrocytes and the descend activity of erythrocyte membrane Ca2+/Mg2+-ATPase may be one of the identifications in early assesement of brain damage degree for HIE cases. |
