It has the function of regulating qi to alleviate pain, activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis, and used to therapia qi-stagnancy and blood stasis coronary artery disease, angina.et. Because of its complex chemical components, it requires n effective ,comprehensive and systematic way to control the ingredients in drug ,intemediates and compound, thus ensuring the stability of compound production technology and the safe and reliable in. clinical treatment. Furthermore, in order to confirm its pharmacological activity,there are two models to evaluate the pharmacological effect. The innovation of the subject are the HPLC and GC fingerprint of the compound, to develop the quality standard system of the compound. Ultimately to determine the quality standards system which provides a reference for other compound.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction, which includes the drug research progress of the indivial in the compound , the research of the fingerprints, the similarity of the fingerprints'evaluation system, and the main research, innovation, and significance.The second part is the fingerprint of the compound.there were the fingerprint of Salvia and Lingling Xiang, the evaluation of similarity about drug ,intemediates and compound by the Chinese medicine chromatographic fingerprint Evaluation similarity System (2004A) . the fingerprint can fully control the quality of drug ,intemediates and compound ,can monitor the stability of the compound. the fingerprint can be used to ontrol the quality of the compound. In this study there are different extraction methods, different mobile phase, different gradient elution column, different detection wavelength, different apparatus conditions to screen and optimize, to complete a systematic research , and to establish the fingerprint method to control the quality .The method which have excellet precision ,repeatability and stability uses gradient elution.the method reflect the pros and cons from the peak and the similarity,which makes up the lack of quality control methods by a single component.The third part is GC finger print of Guangzao Sixiang pills.Extract the essential oil in the evaporability medical material, collect the essential oil, then extract the essential oil in the prescription, inject in the GC chromatograph, choose the best spectrum condition, establish the finger print of each medical material. Then use mathematical statistics software to disposal the correlated information of the medical material and prescription, find resource of each peak. determine the source of each ingredient.
