Medical infrared thermography technology , which studies human health, is a non-invasive means of inspection. Firstly, compared to type-B ultrasonic and X-CT and other medical imaging, it shows image about the function of human body. Secondly, it has much characteristic such as good sensitivity informative, non -contact, non-invasive, no side effects, no radiation, no pain, check for speedy and so on. Also thermal imaging and scanning systems plays a very important role for the early stage of cancer, early diagnosis and it offer extremely valuable reference for the medical treatment.Medical infrared thermography, which the level of research in China is still at the preliminary stage and the detection theory is still very immature has broad application prospects. Therefore, study of diagnosis of lesions within the body using infrared thermal imaging has very important practical significance. In this paper, the main direction is to study human internal lesions. It seeks the answer using the inverse problem through the establishment of thermal differential equations, which provides the necessary theoretical basis its basic tenets for the quantitative analysis of inflammation within the body .Specific work is as follows:1. It outlines medical imaging methods and introduces the medical infrared thermography diagnostic techniques in details.2. Combined with texture principle applied in medical imaging, It explores the feasibility of quantitative analysis internal heat source by the distribution of surface temperature.3. It outlines the theories and research methods of the inverse problem of heat conduction. On the basis of heat transfer theory , combined with the characteristics of infrared thermal imaging , this paper introduce the method of the state of internal heat using heat conduction equation when there are internal heat source, that is, there is lesions. It provides a theoretical basis for quantitative analysis of internal lesions of the body.
