The Toxiological Study On Alcohol Extract Of Centipedes

Objective: To find the safe and effective dose of clinical treatment and provide a theoretical basis by the toxiological study on Alcohol Extract Of CentipedeMethod: To study the effects of the animals' toxic response , changes of histopathological and Blood biochemical index,and the MDA content of liver by Alcohol Extract Of Centipedes,80 Geban SD male and female rats were divided into 4 groups,including 2500 mg / kg of reorganization, 5000 mg / kg of reorganization, 10000 mg / kg of reorganization and the control group, gavaging for 30 days.Result:(1) No obviously changes of biological habit had been found among each groups ,when testing on the 30 days and no one died. In addition, compared with the changes of weight, organ coefficients and blood index , no significant differences had been found among each groups(p>0.05).(2)Compared with the values of AST, ALT and MDA,there were significant differences among the highest dose group and the each other groups(p<0.01)after testing by 30 days.though the lower different groups had no significant differences when compared with each other(p>0.05).And ,there were no significant differences among each groups after drug withdrawal for 14 days(p>0.05).It suggested that some degree liver injury would be occurred when the rats gavaging with long-term and large doeses of Alcohol Extract Of Centipedes,though it would be reversible after drug withdrawal.Conclusion:There were reversible liver injury of SD rats when gavaging with long-term and large doeses of Alcohol Extract Of Centipedes,which suggested that we would avoid long-term and large doeses when the Centipede used as a medicine...
