Objectve:To observe the effect of the programmed-control Air Sac on lubar intervertebral disc protrusion and to discuss its possible mechanism。Method:60 patients of L4/5 intervertebral disc protrusion were divided into two groups based on table of random number, one group is 31 and the other is 29。The former were treated by programmed-control Air Sac,and the other group were treated by Chinese traditional manipulation, respectively 1 hour every time, once a day, meanwhile, two groups were treated by lumbar traction and traditional Chinese medicine through whole range,NAIDs and fumigating were used for two groups for primal 5 days。To observe the height and antrorse -salient angle of pathological intervertebral space after four weeks of treatment, meanwhile, recording the JOA score at each end course of treatment。All data was analyzed by the software of SPSS13.0。Results:The JOA score improvement rate of the group treated by the programmed-control Air Sac was absolutely higher than the other one after 2 weeks,3 weeks and 4 weeks(p<0.05)。The height and antrorse-salient angle of pathological intervertebral space were not different among the three groups after 4 weeks of treatment(p>0.05)。The height and antrorse-salient angle of pathological intervertebral space were not different among the group were treated by lumbar traction combined with Chinese traditional manipulation(p>0.05)。The height and antrorse-salient angle of pathological intervertebral space of the group treated by the programmed-control Air Sac after 4 weeks of treatment were absolutely higher than that of pretherapy。Conclusion:The programmed-control Air Sac has good effect on lubar intervertebral disc protrusion and has good value in clinic。Its possible mechanism is increasing the height and antrorse-salient angle of pathological intervertebral space。...
