| Backgroud: @As China gradually into an ageing society,the cerebral ischemic stroke is becoming the health hazards of life of older persons.About 70-80% Survivors left over from various degrees of disability,as much as 42.3%can not take care of life by themselves.Modern rehabilitation therapy rising in recent years has been greatly reduced disability after stroke,the rate of family and social reunification also greatly enhancing.Lots of clinical studies suggested that most of patients with ischemic stroke is the elderly persons,clinically suffering from deficiency of Qi,blood stasis,stagnation of phlegm symptoms.They are at the lack of adequate exercise capacity in the implementation of rehabilitation therapy,impacting of the recovery. Buyang Huanwu decoction is a panacea which treats deficiency Qi and blood stasis of stroke,and can improve the self-fatigue and other discomfort in patients,thus increasing the endurance of the Movement function. @Objective: @The study recovers clinical curative effect of combination Buyang Huanwu decoction and rehabilitation therapy on the movement function of ischemic stroke patients with syndrome of deficiency of Qi and blood stasis. @Method: @The study used a randomized controlled method,the patients which meet the included standards were divided into:the treatment group(Buyang Huanwu decoction+rehabilitation therapy group)and the control group(placebo+ rehabilitation therapy group),subjects of two groups were from Guangdong Province TCM hospital rehabilitation department by the implementation of clinical treatment and observation for three weeks.The subjects treating with "Buyang Huanwu decoction" were fed orally or nasally,and with the modern rehabilitation and foundational treatment.Chinese medicine placebo is used in the control group,the drug was fed orally or nasally,and with the modern rehabilitation and foundational treatment.Before treatment and after three weeks each of them respectively had assessments of Bruunstrom stage, Fugl-Meyer Movement Scale score(FMA),Barthel Index(BI),fatigue visual analogue score(VAS)and detect Root Mean Square(RMS)and Median Frequency (MF)of side quadriceps by using the surface EMG.When clinical data collection completed,we had used of statistical software packages SPSS13.0 for item coding,date base structure establishment,date entry database management and analysis.The following statistical methods of the data are adopted:measurement data were analyzed with t test(necessarily rank sum test).Grade data were analyzed with rank sum test while enumeration data were analyzed with Chi-square test(exact probabilities)α=0.05. @Results: @①Test group and control group of patients with ischemic stroke can increase BI score and reduce the sense of fatigue VAS score,but the test group BI score and fatigue VAS score changes more evident(P＜0.01). @②Movement function:The FMA score of two groups before and after treatment was significantly different(P＜0.01),but after treatment the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05),which suggests that after the rehabilitation the subjects had progress in physical movement.Whether Buyang Huanwu decoction had the intervention of movement function,that need more time for follow-up observation. @③Analysing surface EMG of quadriceps of 11 subjects before and after treatment,the results show that RMS compared with before and after treatment had difference(P=0.04).RMS response surface EMG amplitude,was positively correlated with the strength,the changes of RMS prompting quadriceps strength recover.MF before and after the treatment showed no statistical significance,probably due to the rehabilitation prevent the lower limb muscle atrophy. @Conclusion: @The results showed that rehabilitation with Buyang Huanwu decoction treatment for ischemic stroke patients helps to improve the fatigue and ability of daily living,but Whether Buyang Huanwu decoction had the intervention of movement function,that need more time for follow-up observation.By the surface EMG evaluation,the changes after three weeks rehabilitation training suggests that patients had prevented their lower limb muscle from atrophy and promoted the recovery of muscle strength.
