Objective:To explore the effect of the interaction between polymorphisms of apolipoprotein E gene on the presence of type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease and the high-sensitive C-reactive protein and interleukin-6.Methods:The genotype and allele frequency of apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism was assayed by Multiplex Amplification Refractory Mutation system polymerase Chain Reaction,high-sensitive C-reactive protein was assayed by immunity transmission turbidity method,interleukin-6 was assayed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in patients with type 2 diabetes, patients with coronary heart disease, patients type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease and controls. The relation of gene polymorphisms of apolipoprotein E and levels of serum Lipids were also studied.Results:①The frequencies of e4 alleles were higher in coronary heart diseases than in controls(0.26 vs 0.10 p=0.024);②The frequencies of alleles and genotypes in type 2 diabetes and type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease are not significantly different with that of controls(0.125 vs 0.10,p=0.682;0.225 vs 0.10,p=0.075);③The serum levels of hsCRP and IL-6 were significantly increased in type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease than in controls(p<0.01);The serum levels of hsCRP and IL-6 were significantly increased in type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease than in type 2 diabetes and coronary heart disease(p<0.01);④Logistic regression shows the levels of hsCRP and hypertension are independent risk factors of the type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease, the frequencies of e4 alleles were not related to type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease.Conlusion:The frequencies of e4 alleles were not related to type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease, the levels of hsCRP and IL-6 are related tight to the type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease, the risk factors in type 2 diabetes with coronary heart disease include hsCRP and serum Lipids should be treated as early as possible.
