PARTEffect of hypoxia on state of sleep in military officers and soliders after uegently entering highland for training.OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of hypoxia on the state of sleep in military officers and soldiers who uegently entered highland for training.METHODS:Forty-six military officers and soldiers were monitored respectively by PTT(pulse transit time)at low altitude(1500m),high altitude(4500m)for training and after training for two month.RESULTS:There was significant difference beteeen High altitude and low altitude in the mean SaO2,Index of 3%SaO2 decreasing,Index of sleep respiratory events and spontaneous microarousal index(P<0.05).Among these results,Index of 3%SaO2 decreasing changed themost,being 13.54±5.40 at high altitude area and 2.16±0.86 at Low altitude.Index of sleep respiratory events and spontaneous microarousal index in high altitude were respectively 9.90±4.08 and 51.51±13.60,while they were 4.29±2.30 and 29.60±6.60 in low altitude area.There were negative correlation of mean SaO2(P<0.05)with Index of sleep respiratory events (r=-0.713)and spontaneous microarousal index(r=-0.785),and positive correlation Index of 3%SaO2 decreasing(P<0.05)with Index of sleep respiratory events(r=0.717)and spontaneous microarousal index(r=0.625) There was no defference of data that was monitored by PTT between before training and after training for two month.CONCLUSIONS:Military officers and soldiers after entering highland for training suffer from a poor-quality sleep,Which may be caused by hypoxia.Valid supplying oxygen is an effective method of improving their status of sleep. oxygen;training outsidePARTⅡEffect of hypoxia on electroencephalography in military officers and soliders for training at high altitudeOBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of hypoxia on electroencephalography (EEG)in military officers and soldiers after urgently entering into highland for training.METHODS:EEG of 46 military officers and soldiers who urgently entered into highland for training from low altitude were monitored respectively.RESULTS:Percentage of alpha were approximately 92.37±3.21,91.74±3.26,84.67±8.46,92.26±3.44 respectively at 1500m,3200m,4500m above sea level and after training for two months,The number of military officers and soldiers whose beta have excel five percent was 3,15, 12,4,respectively,compared with at the altitude of 3200m and 4500m, Percentage and mean amplitude of alpha,persons whose beta have exceled five percent and whose theta have exceled five percent had significantly different(P<0.01)between 1500m(Before training)and 3200m and between 1500m(Before training)and 4500m.Mean frequency of alpha had significantly different between 3200m and 4500m(P<0.01).Abnormal EEG have two case in altitude of 3200m,and 9 case at the altitude of 4500m. EEGs of military officers and soldiers after training for two months have no difference with before training.CONCLUSIONS:It Is the character of EEG that alpha decreased,beta and theta increased of military officers and soldiers who urgently entered into highland for training.EEG was normal after training for two months. PARTⅢInvestagation and analysis quility of sleep,state of mental and quility of life in military officers and solidiers after urgently entering high altitude for trainingOBJECTIVE To investigate sleep quality,quility of life and mental health of military officers and soliders who urgently entered highland for training.And analysising correlation between sleep quality and mental health,between sleep quality and quility of life.METHODS Sleep quality,quility of life and mental health of two hundreds fifty-six military officers and soldiers who uegently entered highland for training were respectively investigated by Pittsburgh Sleeping Quality Index(PSQI),The World Health Organization Quality of Life(WHOQOL)-BREF and Symptom checklist-90(SCL-90)at 1500m(before training),4500m and after training for two months.RESULT The total mean score of PSQIs were respectively 4.64±2.42,7.23±2.80,5.55±4.84.Training in high altitude compared with before training and after backing from high altitude for two months,There were significant differences in the scores of all facts of PSQI, WHOQOL-BREFand SCL-90(P<0.01).the scores of part facts of PSQI and SCL-90 were difference between before training and after training for two months (P<0.05),while there was no deference in the scores of all facts between sleep quility and quality of life.There was significant poitive correlation of scores in all facts of PSQI with SCL-90(P<0.05).There was significant negative correlation of scores in all facts of PSQI with WHOQOL -BREF(P<0.05).Conclusion Military officers and soldiers after entering highland for training suffer from a poor quality sleep,quality of life and mental health.Training outside still influences sleep quality and mental health after training for two months.Which may be caused by hypoxia.It is very important to pay attation to mental health and sleep quility after training for two months.
