The clinical study of immunoadsorption(IA)in the treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis(MG)Objective:To probe the efficiacy and safety of immunoadsorption (IA)in the treatment of generalized myasthenia gravis(MG).Methods:45 cases of definitely diagnosed generalized MG were divided into two groups randomly namely IA treatments group(23 cases) and Plasma exchange(PE)group(22 cases).Clinical and safty assessments were evaluated at baseline and after IA or PE.Results:Accordingly, serum IgG,IgM and C3 concentrations were decreased significantly At the end of treatment,Osserman grade, MGFA,ADL and MMT were improved significantly.Compared with PE group,IA group were more evidently improved.Individuals with positive AchR antibody were found to have a lower titer after treatment. The general tolerance of patients was good. All the safety parameters showed no significant difference between baseline and post—treatment. The rejection rate in IA group was also lower than PE group. Conclusions:Compared With Plasma exchange, immunoadsorption could improve the symptoms of generalized myasthenia gravis more quickly.
