Objective:To investigate and discuss the change and the clinical significance of serum interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and interleukin-12(IL-12)in children with mycoplasma pneumonia(MPP).Method:To collect 50 cases of children with MPP(28 cases of children with severe and 22 cases of children with mild)and 30 cases of healthy child -ren as contrast; To take ELISA as method to determine the ordinary pneumonia serum IL-2,IL-6,IL-8,IL-12 levels in children with MPP during severe period, mild period and convalescence period and Germany Ling BNⅡwith plasma protein analysis using scattering rate turbidime -tric method to determine the contents and composition of high -sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), imunoglobulin(Ig)and serum complement(C).ResultDuring severe period and convalescence period, there is significant difference in IL-2,IL-12 between children with MPP and healthy children(P<0.01,P<0.05).Whereas during severe period, serum IL-6,IL-8 levels in children with MPP are obviously higher those in healthy children(both P<0.01).During convalescence period, its content drops significantly(but P>0.05).Compared the severe period and convalescence period, the difference is also obvious and significant that the serum IL-2,IL-12 decrease(P<0.01,P<0.05),but IL-6,IL-8 increase,(both P<0.01).IL-2 and IL-12 in children with severe is significantly lower than those in children with mild, while serum IL-6, IL-8 slightly higher(P<0.01,respectively).During severe period,IgM and IgG in children with MPP are significantly lower than the healthy children(P<0.01,P<0.05),whereas IgA decreases significantly(P<0.05).Serum hs-CRP,C3,C4 in children with MPP are significantly higher,(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.05).Compared the severe period and convalescence period,hs-CRP and C3 in children with MPP increase significantly(P<0.01).IgM and IgG in children with severe increase significantly(P<0.01,P<0.01);while IgA decreases significantly(P<0.05). Serum hs-CRP,C3,C4 in children with severe are significantly higher than those in healthy children(P<0.01,respectively).Conclusion1.During severe period, cytokines IL-2,IL-12 levels in children with MPP are significantly lower,while,IL-6,IL-8 levels increases significantly.During convalescence period, cytokines IL-2,IL-12 levels in children with MPP drops significantly, but IL-6,IL-8 are nearly the same as the healthy children. The detection of these inflammatory cytokines will facilitate determining the condition and prognosis of certain clinical application.2.During severe period and convalescence period, serum hs-CRP both in children with severe and mild increases significantly.3.During severe period serum immunoglobulin IgM,IgA and complement C3,C4 in children with MPP significantly increase, while IgG decreases; During convalescence period, serum immunoglobulin IgG significantly increases, while there is no obvious change in IgM,IgA and complement C3, C4.Compared with children with mild, serum globulin IgM,IgG and hs-CRP, C3,C4 in children with severe increase significantly, while IgA decreases. The detection of immunoglobulin and complement and the corresponding effect on the immune function of Children will be of certain clinical significance.
