Study On The Relationship Between Mineral Resources Exploration And Endemic Disease In Henan Province

According to epidemiology theory, the occurrence of endemic is directly related with local geological conditions, mining beds distribution, mining operations.Currently, the study of endemic focuses on biogeochemical disease happened in geological environment.Henan province boasts bountiful mineral resources, while harassed by endemic prevalence. The relationship between mining activities and endemic occurrence was studied by comparison. It was found that the prevalence of endemic in Henan province is closely related to both original geochemical environment (including land shape and relief, geological structure, lithology, soil, etc.) and secondary geochemical environmental pollution.Further more, GM (1,1) grey system model established by the number of endemic patients was applied to predict the endemic occurrence change in Henan Province, i.e., the annual increasing cases of endemic disease are declining year by year.The scientific precaution measures for endemic control and environmental protection methods during mining exploration were proposed.
