Objective:Gustatory sweating syndrome(Frey's syndrome)is the parotidectomy after recurring problems, but also the treatment problems. The purpose of this study was to evaluate acellular dermis matrix prevention in the parotidectomy after sweating taste of the effect of syndrome.Methods:90 patients were randomly divided into two groups,GroupⅠincludes 45 patients with a superficial parotidectomy. The second group of 45 patients with a superficial parotidectomy,in the parotid gland bed flap between the parotid gland and the remaining tissue embedded acellular dermis matrix.Acellular dermis matrix implantation depends on the volume side pleasing in appearance to the resumption of the necessary organizations. All 90 patients by telephone and mail survey of sweat form on the taste evaluation of syndrome, and 40 randomly selected patients(GroupⅠ20,the second group 20)improved on both sides of the face iodine-starch test (MSIT).Results:Feedback from the survey showed that 90 in the first group of 45 patients,15 patients(33.3%)patients with a taste of the subjective symptoms of sweating syndrome, and in the second group 45 patients, only five cases(11.1%)with a taste of sweat subjective symptoms of syndrome.Chi-square test 0.025<P<0.01,α=0.05 level according to a statistical significance.MSIT used in 40 patients Frey's objective symptoms of syndrome, the first and second group incidence rates were 35%(7 cases),and 0.05%(1 cases).Chi-square test 0.05<P<0.025,α=0.05 level according to a statistical significance. Conclusions:Acellular dermis matrix in the prevention of Parotid gland postoperative Frey's syndrome is an effective method.
