Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound therapy, laser therapy and acupuncture to the patients with cerebral infarction through the variety of the transcranial Doppler (TCD), blood lipids and hemorrheology . To study the effect of the comprehensive therapy to the patients with cerebral infarction. Methods 90 patients of cerebral infarction were randomly divided into three groups: simply drug group (30 cases) treated only with common drugs, ultrasound and laser therapy group (30 cases) treated besides common drugs also by ultrasound therapy and laser therapy, ultrasound therapy laser therapy and acupuncture group treated with acupuncture therapy at the same time. Using the SUT-610 automatic ultrasonic scanning therapeutic equipment which produced by DongJian company of Beijing for cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular.①Ultrasound therapy: Four ultrasonic probes with coupling agent were placed on Yamen point of sick side, pulsative point of internal carotid artery, temple and the scalp projection of the clinical or CT confirmed lesion and fixed with a flexible headgear. The frequency of ultrasound was 800kHz and the output power was 0.75-1.25W/cm~2 for 20 minutes at a time, once daily, and 15 times as one course of treatment, treated for two courses.②low-level He-Ne laser extravascular irradiation: Patients supine, the affected arm was placed on the bed. We chose clearly visible veins in dorsum of hand. After routinely sterilizing the skin and laser guiding fibers, we placed the output of the fibers on the vessel at a 45°angle and then fixed with tapes to keep the output close to the skin. The output power of laser was 4.5mW and the wave length was 632.8nm. The laser irradiation was 20 minutes at a time, once daily, and 15 times as one course of treatment, treated for two courses.③acupuncture: Chose the point mainly to scalp and sick side according to patients' conditions. Reserved the needle for 60 minutes and manipulated needle every 5-10 minutes, once a day, 15 times as a course, treated for two courses. TCD, blood lipids and hemorrheology were tested and compared before and after treatment. Results After two courses of treatment, total effective rate of ultrasound therapy laser therapy and acupuncture group (96.7%) was significantly higher than that of ultrasound and laser therapy group(80%) and simply drug group(57%) (P <0.05) .Through TCD, the blood flow rate was improved more in ultrasound therapy laser therapy and acupuncture group than in ultrasound laser therapy group and simply drug group after treatment (P<0.05) .Compared with ultrasound laser therapy group and simply drug group, the indicators of blood lipids were improved significantly in ultrasound therapy laser therapy and acupuncture group (P<0.05) . Compared with ultrasound laser therapy group and simply drug group, low shear and high shear of blood viscosity and red cell electrophoresis decreased significantly in ultrasound therapy laser therapy and acupuncture group (P<0.05) where as plasma viscosity and hematocrit of three groups didn't change obviously. Conclusions Using ultrasound therapy, laser extravascular irradiation and acupuncture to the patients with cerebral infarction in the early, the three can play synergies. They can improve the blood lipids and hemorrheology indicators of patients with cerebral infarction and improve the blood supply of brain. This can maximum decreases the infarction lesions and maximum reserve the nerve function.
