On the foundation of the precious experience of ancients ophthalmologist, Huang Tingjing unite individual clinical practice experience, he was good at summarizing and innovates boldly. In ophthalmic basal theory aspect, He consummated Wulun and Bakuo theories, and proposed some original opinion on ophthalmic basal theory which have the universal guiding sense such as Wuxing Shengkezhihua relations, twelve Jingmai and so on. In the aspect of ophthalmic disease's name, the cause of disease, the symptom, he also get some achievements. He revised some traditional ophthalmological sickness name not very appropriate, dissertate the cause of disease detailedly, and adopts own careful observation, described many ophthalmic symptom characteristics accurately. In the aspect of ophthalmopathy(TCM)'s treatment, he regarded Zhengti conception, applied the medical theory in the ophthalmology(TCM) domain, advocated united Bianbing and Bianzheng and ophthalmological Liujingbianzheng theory. In the aspect of prescription medication, he imitated Jingyue Bazhenfang and instituted ophthalmological Fangyaobazhen, and he also used acupuncture, Waizhi and some other therapeutics to treat ophthalmopathy(TCM) synthetically. In the aspect of ophthalmological surgery, he was good at many kinds of ophthalmological surgeries, and his most prominent achievement is the comprehensive summary of the Jinzhenbozhangshu.
