Ankylosing spondilitis (AS) is a kind of autoimmune disease of the entire body characterized primarily by an attack on the joints of the spine ,There is not better treatment for AS now. The study will research the differentiation of syndrome rule of AS, the relations of type of syndrome and the stage, the relations of type of syndrome and diseased region. In this study, cross-sectional study of clinical epidemiology was applied, clinical questionnaire was designed and filled in, and related data were acquired. The data were analyzed with SPSS 13.5and acquired this results: AS can was divided into cold and damp blocking syndrome, damp and hot blocking syndrome, yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome , yin deficiency of liver and kidneys syndrome, blood blocking syndrome; There is blood blocking syndrome in all the stage, There are primary cold and damp blocking syndrome, damp and hot blocking syndrome in the forward stage and yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome , yin deficiency of liver and kidneys syndrome in the afterward stage; cold and damp blocking syndrome, damp and hot blocking syndrome attack knee joint and ankle joint mostly in the forward stage, yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome attack knee joint and ankle joint mostly in the afterward stage, yin deficiency of liver and kidneys syndrome attack chest and back.
