| Objective: To observe the curative effect and security of YSAG treating deficiency of kidney of EH of the elderly and the impact of sex hormones. Methods: In clinical research, sixty patients of EH of the elderly were divided into tentative group(20cases), Eucommia Antihypertension Tablets group(20cases)and Captopril group(20cases) at random. The tentative group was treated by YSAG. Four weeks was a course of treatment. The changes of blood pressure and safety index signs were observed before and after treatment. Results: YSAG has obvious effect on lowing the blood pressure, cutting down the heart rate, improving the general symptom and blood-supply to cardiac muscle, adjusting blood-fat, BG, blood viscidity and improve sex hormones of the elderly. Conclusion: The YSAG is a group of effective drugs treating EH of the elderly. Besides of lowing the blood pressure, improving the clinical symptoms and the sex hormones, YSAG has the effect of protecting the Cardiovascular System.
