Clinical Research On Yi Shen Antihypertension Granule(YSAG) In Treating Early Renal Damage In Essential Hypertension

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and primary mechanism of YSAG in treating early renal damage in essential hypertension(EH),which syndrome is deficiency of the kidney and phlegm and blood stasis of collateral.Methods:Fifty five patients of early renal damage in EH were divided into curative group(30 cases) and control group(25 cases)at random.The curative group was treated byYSAG and regular western medicine, while the control group was treated only by regular western medicine.Eight weeks was a course of treatment.The changes of blood pressure and urinary microalbumen were observed before and after treatment.Results:The curative group can not only lower blood pressure obviously ,but also lower urinary microalbumen excretion significantly.The effect of the curative group is much better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The curative group can also improve the general symptoms,decrease lipid, rectify metabolic disorder of lipid,reduce viscosity of blood and improves hemorheolgy.Conclusion:The method of tonifying the kidney ,resolving phlegm and blood stasis and opening collateral is an effctive therapeutic method and YSAG is a group of effective drugs in treating early renal damage in EH.If combined with regular western medicine,the effect will be much better.
