Clinical Effect Observation On Sepsis With The Syndrome Of Exuberant Inferior Heat Treating By Xuebijing Injection

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xuebijing injection and methylprednisolone in treating Sepsis with the Syndrome of Exuberant Inferior Heat and to evaluate their side effect.Methods:According to recruitment criterions,62 patients aging from 15 to 75 with sepsis during November,2006 to December,2007 in our hospital were divided randomly into three gruops,21 cases as controlled group,which were treated with western medicine alone (According to International guidelines for management of severe sepsis and septic shock: 2004 from surviving Sepsis Campaign),21 cases as methylprednisolone group,which were treated with western medicine combined with methylprednisolone,20 cases as Xuebijing group,which were treated with western medicine combined with Xuebijing injection.All patients were given common western medicine such as controllable oxygen treatment, anti-infection,fluid infusion nutrition support and other basic treatment.Mechanical Ventilation can be used when it is necessary.The levels of WBC,N,CRP,blood glucose,ALT, AST,TBIL,Cr,BUN were detected before treating and the seventh day in the course of treating.At last,all data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 for windows.Results:1.The Xuebijing group had the similar effect as the methylprednisolone group,and was superior to the controlled group(p≤0.05).2.The Xuebijing group had less side effect such as high blood glucose,gastrointestinal hemorrhage,etal.than methylprednisolone group.Conclusions:1.Xuebijing injection combined with western medicine has the similar effct in the treatment of sepsis as that methylprednisolone combined with western medicine.2.Xuebijing injection has less side effect in treating Sepsis.It is safe in treating Sepsis.
