The Clinical Study Of Treating Acute Cholangitis With Qingdantongyu Decoction

To search after the effective medicine to Acute Cholangitis, the article, on the base of the traditional Chinese medicine, theoretically and clinically discusses the cause and the mechanism of the disease, and the treatment of the disease.The article advances a new mechanism of Acute Cholangitis that the disease is mainly caused by hepatocholic stasis, gastrosplenic and hepatocholic incoordination with blood stasis and toxin of dampness-heat. According to this mechanism, a new prescription of Qingdantongyu Decoction had been drawn up to treat 30 patients. A Clinical Observation had been carried out, and the treatment group (30 cases) with Qingdantongyu Decoction and contrast group (30 cases) with Antibiotics were set up randomly. After the two treatments lasting for ten days, a comprehensive analysis of the effects was made through the symptom, body signs, tongue condition, pulse condition.The result turns out as followings: The treatment group had 76.67%in clinical complete alleviation and 90.00% in total effective rate, superior to contrast group, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Changes in liver function of the treatment group were superior to contrast group. There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment the difference was obvious(P<0.05). It is concluded that Qingdantongyu Decoction has obvious clinical effect in treatment of Acute Cholangitis and the effect has been confirmed on the case of Pharmacology and Materia medica. The article theoretically improves Chinese medicine understanding of the mechanism of Acute Cholangitis and offers a new study method. The article also brings a new treatment to disease and a useful attempt to treating the disease.
