Gastric carcinoma is one of common malignant tumor. The five years survival rate has been raised at present, but the five years survival rate is 20-30% remaintly. Its mortality is also higher than any other cancer in china. The process of tumorous growth, deadexis and relapse are complicate. They are effected by many kinds of factor. Vascularization of tumorous plays an important role. To inhibit vascularization is a new strategy to treat tumorous. Endostain is an endogenous specificity cell proliferation inhibiter in vascular endothelial cell. ES can inhibit growth and deadexis through inhibiting tumorous vascularization by aiming to vascular endothelial cell. At present, it is much more on ES'investigation in carcinoma and carcinoma of prostate, but not in gastric cancer. it was very little known about the relationship of ES on Vascularization, lymph node deadexis and prognosis. The investigation indicated TP is a vascular growth factor and express in solid tumor. TP is related with tumor vessel growth and play an important role. But it was very little known about the relationship of ES and TP, and the study for the correlation of ES positive expression and patients' survival rate so far. Objective: The experiment was aim to study the correlation of clinicopathologic parameters in gastric carcinoma between the expression of ES and TP ; investigate correlation between ES and TP expression and influence on prognosis, so that people can figured out the mechanism of the growth of gastric carcinoma well. Therefore,it can provide people the foundation for treatment and prognosis of gastric carcinoma. Methods: The expression of ES and TP in 52 cases with gastric carcinoma, which selected from Jinlin University Hospital 2000-2002,were proved by post-operative histopathology, was detected by method of SP of immunohistochemistry. Both cases had no adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy history in pre-operative or post-operative and no adjuvant long-term non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) or glicocorticoids. drugs treatment history. And all cases followed up 5 years. Results: There is no signifeicant between the level of ES in age, sex, tumour size and tumorous differentiation degree (P>0.05),but it was closely related with the depth,TNM and lymph node metastasis of the cancer cells(P<0.05). On the other hand, the level of TP was no significant different in age, sex, and tumorous differentiation degree (P>0.05).But it was significant differently in tumorous size(P<0.05) , infiltration depth (P<0.01) ,lymph node metastasis(P<0.05)and TNM(P<0.01 ).The expression of ES and TP were negative correlation in gastric carcinoma. The 5-year survival rate in ES- masculine group was significantly higher than that of ES- negative group(P<0.05). Both groups were also significant differently (P<0.05). Similiarly, the 5-year survival rate in TP-negative group was significantly higher than that of TP- masculine group(P<0.01); Both groups were significant differently (P<0.05). Conclusion: 1.ES and TP play an important role in generation and progression of gastric carcinoma.2.Because the expression of ESand TP was negative correlation, it disclosed that ES and TP may play an importent role.3.The expression of ES and TP and their relationship in gastric carcinoma tissue was negative correlation to the 5-year survival rate ,so detecting ES and TP expression may be potential for predicting and estimation the prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma.
