Clinical Study Of Leflunomide Plus Prednisone On IgA Nephopathy(Nephritis Syndrome Type)

ObjectivesLeflunomide plus prednisone treating patients of IgA nephopathy (nephritis syndrome type),by observing curative effect,various indexes and adverse reactions,and compared with control group,discuss the curative effect and security of leflunomide plus prednisone on IgA nephopathy(nephritis syndrome type).Applicating these study results guide clinical treatment.Methods60 patients of IgA nephopathy(nephritis syndrome type) who were pathology confirmed and conventional therapy refractory,according to the principle of opening and random,divided into leflunomide group(30 cases) and the control group(30 cases).Leflunomide group combined prednisone, control group applyed cyclophosphamide and prednisone,observation period both were six months.Obversing the two groups curative effect: Monitoring the two groups pretherapy and post-treatment for one month, three months and six months of 24-hour urine protein quantitation,renal function and changes in blood albumin and adverse reactions were recorded. The two groups pretherapy and post-treatment consequence were compared between interclass and intragroup separately,the results were analyzed and treated using statistical methods.Results:Compared leflunomide group to control group,curative effect was equal.the difference is not statistically significant.Determined result of 24-hour urine protein quantitation,renal function and changes in blood albumin findings:compared leflunomide group to control group of prior-treatment,the differences were not statistically significant. compared leflunomide group to control group of post-treatment,the differences still were not statistically significant.The two groups prior-treatment and post-treatment compared with various indexes,both showed that urine protein significantly decreased,serum albumin significantly increased,and renal function remained unchanged.The ratio of adverse reactions arising in the course of the treatment compared with the two groups,leflunomide group was significantly less than the control group,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusions1.Leflunomide plus prednisone treating IgA nephopathy(nephrotic syndrome type) curative effect was reliable,compared with cyclophosphamidecontrol group,curative effect was equal.2.In the process of leflunomide plus prednisone treating IgA nephopathy(nephritis syndrome type),adverse reactions occurred less, so leflunomide plus prednisone can be a clinical treatment method with IgA nephopathy(nephritis syndrome type).
