| Objective:This study was to investigate the effect of continuous infusion of propofol in total intravenous anesthesia on serum level of lipids in adult.Methods:Forty patients with ASA physical statusⅠtoⅢ,undergoing elective surgery under total intravenous anesthesia,which were considered as the objects of this study. The dosage of propofol in anesthesia induction was 2 mg/kg. We inducted and intubated quickly,and then adjusted the anesthesia machine to intermittent positive pressure ventilation (IPPV).In the surgery process,we infused propofol by the speeds of 4~16 mg/kg/h continuously.Initial velocity of propofol was 10mg/kg/h,and then we adjusted the infusion speed according to the blood pressure,making the systolic pressure drop about 20%.In the surgery process,we did not infuse any liquid concluding lipid except propofol.The proportion of crystal and colloid was 2:1,and at the same time recorded the input and output.The serum levels of lipids were examined at the following time points:before infusion of propofol(T0),1h after the operation starts(T1),operation ended(T2)and 5h after the operation(T3).Drew 2ml of venous blood each time to test the levels of total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL).The results used statistical method to examination.Results:1.We infused propofol continually in total intravenous anesthesia,and tested the density of TG at 1h after the operation starts,the result indicated that the density of TG rise obviously(P<0.05).When the operation ended,the density of TG was between critical high numerus and hypertriglyceridemia.The density of TG at 5h after the operation degraded to the level of pre-operation.2.We infused propofol continually in total intravenous anesthesia and tested the density of TC.The result indicated that there was no evident variation(P>0.05).3.We infused propofol continually in total intravenous anesthesia and tested the density of HDL and LDL.The result indicated that the density of them descent obviously(P<0.05). But the density degraded to the level of pre-operation at 5h after the operation.Conclusions:1.In total intravenous anesthesia,continues infusion of propofol can make the density of TG rise obviously and the density of HDL and LDL descent obviously.But the density all degraded to the level of pre-operation at 5h after the operation.2.In total intravenous anesthesia,continues infusion of propofol can not make the density of TC variation evidently.3.It is not obvious that the effect of propofol in total intravenous anesthesia on serum level of lipids in adult.So propofol is a better drug to choose in total intravenous anesthesia. |
