Adjective:To study a way to treat urothelial tumors of upper-urinary tract and evaluate the effect, to improve the clinical treatment level of urothelial tumors of upper-urinary tract.Materials and Methods:The paper retrospective analyzed 18 patients (experimental group) operated on he transurethral resection of ureteral orifice-shaped cuff combined with lumbar incision, in department of urology of China Japan Union Hospital during April 2007 to March 2009. Besides, we let other 25 patients (control group) who were operated on the traditional two-incision during the same period compare with them. Statistical methods were used to analyze the operation time, bleeding volume, incision length, extubation time, removal catheter time, inpatient time after operation and operative complications between the two group. Results:Compared with the control group, in the operation time, bleeding volume, incision length, inpatient time after operation, etc. The experimental group are better than the control group (P<0.05). Extubation time, removal catheter time for the two groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Non-experimental TURP syndrome, obturator nerve reflex, bleeding and other complications during the experimental group, no postoperative bleeding, infection and the incidence of urinary fistula, no other organ injury. After the patients in the two group had no bladder tumor recurrence. Conclusions:This method is advantageous to treat urothelial tumors of upper-urinary tract owing to its simple operation, small wound, fewer complications and better effect.
