The Protective Effect Of Glycyrrhizic Acid On Hp-infected Gastric Mucosa In BALB/c Mice

Objective:To establish the animal model of BALB/ c mice infected wit h H. pylori( Hp).To study the protective effect of glycyrrhizic acid on infection of H. pylori( Hp) in BALB/ c mice's stomach.Methods:40 healthy BALB/ c mice were randomly divided into four groups,they were normal control group,Hp infected group,Hp infected + glycyrrhizic acid group and Hp infected + metronidazole group.Results:The infectious rate was100 %(10/ 10) in the infected group , while 0 (0/ 10) in the Hp infected + glycyrrhizic acid group and Hp infected + metronidazole group.Conclusion:Hp can be colonized successfully in BALB/ c mouse stomach. And the glycyrrhizic acid has the protective effect on infection of H. pylori( Hp).
