Clinical Observation In Chemotherapy With Temozlimide In Postoperative Primary Cerebral Glioma

Objective:observe the Curative effects and Safety of temozolimide,in treating postoperative primary glioma。Methods: fifty two patients,aged18—60years,pathological definitely diagnosed as cerebral glioma(gradeⅡ～Ⅳ),including anaplastic astrecytom(n=36)andglioblastom,these patients were divided into two groups.(26patients for each group)were enrolled in the study。(1)Temozlomide150—200mg/m2 was administered once daily for 5 days and 28 days as a treatment course(3—6courses were performed in these cases)physical examination was performed on all patients at each dosing cycle,blood routine,hepatic and renal function test were taken to determine patients'tolerability and safety of the drug and the clinical features were also observed。Enhanced CT or MRI were performed and compared with the original imagings before treatment with TMZ to determine the changes of solid tumors at the end of 3 and 6 courses。(2)In operaten group(control group)anaplastic astrocytoma 18 cases and glioblastom 8 cases not treated with radiotherapy or chemotherapy postoperatyivel。Results: the 26 Cases with TMZ, three Cases tumor completely disappeared,two cases showed tumor volume decreased above 50%,ten cases showed remain stable, 11 Cases showed enlargement of tumor volume。The effective rate of such treatment was 57.6%,six-month survival rate was 65.3%(17/26)。The longest survival has reached 20 months。During the chemotherapy,adverse effects and myelotoxicity were slight and all of patients were well tolerated。Conclusion: The TMZ Can effectively delay the recurrene of glioma with safety and good tolerability。Therefore it is a good prospective chemotherapentin agent。...
